An Israeli study: Most Arab people reject normalization with the Zionist entity and consider it treason
While Arab regimes rushed to normalize with the occupying entity following the steps of the UAE ruler and the first traitor, Mohammed bin Zayed; many Israeli research centers conducted studies assessing popular opinions in various countries which signed the normalization agreement and measured the impact of propaganda and media campaigns held to convince people of this step.

The “Times of Israel” website published the results of a study conducted by the Israeli Ministry of Strategic Affairs between mid-August and mid-September, regarding the content of social media posts in the Arab world on the recently signed normalization agreements. According to the study, the position of 81% of social media users rejected the normalization agreements, 8% had “very critical” opinions, and only 5% were positive, while 45% of the comments published considered the normalization agreement as a “treason”.
The pro-normalization said that normalization has security and economic advantages, which are the same justifications offered by the media of the normalizing regimes.
On the other hand, social media users welcomed the statements of the Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani in an interview with Al-Jazeera, in which he stressed on the need to: “End the Israeli occupation, declare an independent state of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital, and return refugees, for the pillars of peace to be established and for the two-state solution to be set according to the Arab initiative, otherwise Qatar does not have to be among those normalizing with Israel”.
However, those supporting these statements feared that Qatar might later on normalize, but most Arab people generally are against totally against normalization with the Zionist entity.
Social media platforms welcomed the bill submitted by Algerian MPs to the Presidency of Parliament to criminalize normalization with the Zionist entity. The bill includes provisions prohibiting travel or any direct or indirect contact with “Tel Aviv”. The bill was submitted by MP Youssef Agisa, representative of the largest Islamic party in Algeria. Fifty MPs from different political formations signed the bill according to Agisa.
The bill consists of 7 articles, the first of which criminalize normalization with the Zionist entity, and its second article bans communication or establishing any relationships or open any representative offices at any level with the Zionist entity, whether directly or indirectly.
Article 4 provides that “It is forbidden to travel to and from the Zionist entity, and it is forbidden to enter or receive citizens of the Zionist entity in Algeria or at the headquarters of its diplomatic missions. ”
The Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has confirmed that his country refuses normalization, stressing that the Palestinian cause is sacred to the Algerian people. He added that the Algerian government has prevented the first normalization plane from the Zionist entity to Morocco from using Algerian airspace in transit.
The widespread Tunisian public rejection of normalization was stirred as four Tunisian municipalities joined an international organization “Mayors for Peace” which includes municipalities of the Israeli occupation.
The Tunisian Popular Movement Party condemned joining this organization describing it as a clear and intentional penetration, and stressed that this move reflects a criminal political option based on normalization with Zionist terrorism, represented by the dominant parties in these municipal councils.
The Tunisian Association for Tolerance and the Labor Union joined the popular wave condemning the action of the four municipalities.
It called for the enactment of a law to criminalize normalization “to curb the parties involved in the organizations of imperialist powers seeking to push Arab countries to normalize and accelerate the Greater Middle East project”, thus confirming the official Tunisian position.
Previously the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied the New York Times magazine’s claims that Tunisia has normalized by signing a peace agreement with Israel, affirming its adherence to the rights of the Palestinian people.
