Would the Moroccan Minister of Tourism make the Israeli’s dream come true?

As the Moroccan government signed the normalization agreement with the Zionist entity, the Moroccan Minister of Tourism, Nadia Fattah Alaoui, made statements support this agreement. This was immediately followed by direct flights flying from Tel Aviv to Rabat, the Moroccan Minister’s statements came in her dialogue.

The Minister of Tourism had an interview with “Yediot Aharonot” newspaper, entitled “I will do my best to make Morocco the most attractive destination for Israelis. She aspires to attract non-Moroccan Israelis to get to know Morocco closely, as she is certain that they woul like the country a lot. She stated that she would be very happy if she made this come true.

Israeli newspapers in return commended the Minister’s statements, highlighting that Nadia Al-Alawi faces huge challenges to achieve her ambition!

Perhaps the Israeli newspapers were pointing out to the existence of a government of the Muslim Brotherhood’s (MB) ideology, despite the widespread criticism this government faces from Moroccan people.

The comments of the Israeli newspapers could also be referring to the widespread Moroccan popular rejection of the normalization agreement, as the Moroccan government spread forces everywhere to ban protests against the normalization with Israel.

Al-Alawi also praised the normalization agreement between the UAE and the Zionist occupation state, pointing out that this agreement has greatly benefited the UAE as thousands of Israelis traveled to the Emirates following the agreement, which was not surprising. She stressed that the real challenge she is facing is making Morocco at the top list of destination to be visited by the Israelis, hoping to surpass Dubai – in terms of tourist attractions.

Al-Alawi also indicated in previous statements that she is studying the arts of promoting Moroccan tourism to attract the Israelis according to their tastes and needs. She is also the supervisor of a program for tourist guides in Morocco to cooperate with those coming from the occupation state.

It is worth mentioning that the Moroccan King received a joint US-Israeli delegation to sign the normalization agreement with Israel.

According to a statement issued by the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the agreements signed between the two parties, included other agreements in the fields of the economic, commercial and tourism.

The agreement came two weeks after Donald Trump announced reaching a “historical agreement” to resume relations between Morocco and the Israeli occupation, in return for Washington’s recognition of Morocco’s sovereignty over Western Sahara.

The Moroccan Minister of Tourism made statements on the Israeli “Kan” channel, during which Alawi revealed that the number of tourists from the Zionist occupation state to the State of Morocco has reached 50,000, and she hopes they reach 200,000 Israeli tourists during 2021.

Moroccan and Israeli newspapers revealed the expansion of cooperation between the two sides in the near future, including tourism, air travel, investment, industry, economy, while other sectors are expected to be announced soon.
